Who we are
VeraVis Capital Limited is the controller of the personal data you send us through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16883878, with our registered office at 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the enquiry form: your name, email address, company or project, country, whether you are a promoter, lender or adviser, the funding need, your message, the result of the readiness check if you used it, and the language you were reading in.
The readiness check runs in your browser. Nothing from it is sent anywhere unless you submit the enquiry form.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss whether and how we can help with your project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and, where you ask us to work with you, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives the enquiry form.
- Microsoft, which provides the email service we use to read and answer enquiries.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site; your browser requests them from Google, which sees your IP address.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
If an enquiry leads to an introduction, we share project details with a lender or fund only with your agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to further work are deleted within 24 months. If we go on to work together, we keep records for as long as the work and our legal obligations require.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. It remembers your language choice in your browser's own storage, which never leaves your device.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. To do so, reply to any email from us, use the enquiry form, or write to us at our registered office.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
